Our Parks

The York City parks system includes neighborhood playgrounds, active sports facilities and grand, historic regional parks, including one named after William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania. That park – known as “Penn Commons” or “Penn Park,” has deep historical roots as a civil war hospital location and a fairground.
